So I was recently (like 10 minutes ago) taking a casual stroll through dA when I stumbled upon stop-tracing, a club which expresses it's discontent with carbon-copy tracing and such. After moar lurking I became more and more aware and learned more about how common it is to trace. I also learned about dA's tracing policy and how it's just fine, because they want the site to be open to everyone.
Well, before now, I never really cared about who traced, because I thought it was mostly 12-year old anime addicts who would take their LOLOMG FAVURIT anime character and
Sure, they're not "OMGGGGGG I <33333333333 SASUKE SOOO MUCH!11!! SO I MAED MY OWN CAHRACTER CALLED CLOUD AND HE LOOKS LIEK SASUKE BUT HE HAS YELLOW HAIR AND HEE'SS SOOOOO HAWT AND HAS A DIFFEENT PERSONALITY AND HE CAN BREATH FIRE AND HE ALSO CAN RUN RELLY FAST11! PLAESE FAVE!111", but they're still tracing. Though they might have a different background and are not carbon-copies, they're still traces. Even if I spent tons of time, they're not anime characters that have been traced one million times, and dA doesn't care, I still feel bad and am considering ridding my gallery of things that could be considered tracing. So I need your guys opinions on whether or not it's worth deleting them (personally, I don't care about the views and favs and crap, I just want to know if it would be better to keep or remove them) because I don't want to be even possible to relate to this chick.
The main deviations (there's more way back in my gallery, but I don't want to redeem them)
Majora's Mask - [link]
David Attenborough - [link]
Charlie Chaplin - [link]
Keep, or remove?
Also, are using vectored images as a component in vector considered tracing as well?
Examples:
The hot-air balloons - [link]
Street light - [link]
Thanks for bearing with me.
Devious Comments
You're just having an attack of delusional paranoia
You do not need to delete your deviations. You are not like the crazy anime fans and suchlike who just trace for the hell of it. Your work is actually artistic, and you're not trying to fool anyone that it's something it's not. Everything is fine. Resume inner peace

ON: What happens when I'm unhappy? What happens?
CN: Fine. But not the red ones. They bind.
But those are a lot of good points, thank you ^^ I suppose if anyone ever finds something wrong with it I'll count on them to let me know.
I guess what's been mainly getting me is this stamp [link]
But if all those, even combined, are not an original vector, I don't know what one is. The whole vector section is infested with artistic traces of celebrities, musicians, etc.

With mud they'll make prints on their backs
Although it is "tracing", you're putting artistic thought into everything you do.
It's not as if you were taking a pre-drawn picture into photoshop, adjusting the hue and then re-posting it.
If you take 'em down, I'll be forced to send a gang of evil comic-book nerds upon you.
And you won't like 'em...
They're Canadian.

Too busy scheming, plotting, planning, and drawing to come up with something quaint to say about my habitual life style that usually involves some kind of plot, caper, shenanigan, heist, scheme, plan, or super-shenanigan.
That's true, I see plenty of people who take others' photos, simply pass them through one or two filters and.... it's their own. But I don't see much complaining about that.

Ha. Imagine me yelling that at you in a constant flow of words, that's how I said it in my head. You know...like in movies, when someone's trying to stop someone from stressing out, but they're stressed, so they yell not to stress, and that stresses the person out? ...Yeah....ok then...
That stamp is just one person's extreme opinion. Let them be. C'est la vie. If someone has a problem with your work, they have a problem with it. It's for you to judge whether they have a valid point or not.

Same thing with having silly fun. Like ,"Why are you being so serious, loosen up and have some fun." in a very serious and objective tone. >.>
I'll keep that in mind

The thing with online communities is that you just have to take a step back every once in a while and think 'hey, this isn't real life, what these people say makes no difference to me, not really' and then go have a nice drink, because hydration is important

But in a way, it is real life, almost like a "behind the scenes", because thoughts are usually much more focused and honest, since almost nothing is immediate.
In real life, the immediate thought is not always the true one, but we usually say it anyway.
I'll be sure to keep hydration in mind though
